7-a-side mixed rugby

OURFC will be running a weekly touch rugby programme with a view to attracting novices into the game and stopping the post school drop off in participation. It will be supported by O2 touch which means official touch balls and RFU/O2 branding.

The format will be as follows:
  • 7 a side mixed teams, of which 5 must be new to rugby or not played competitively in the last season
  • Teams can represent colleges, societies, socially-binding forces... whatever you like!
  • Each session will consist of a tournament, so we will be crowning a winner each week.
  • There must be minimum of 1 girl per team
  • The players of the winning team of each week will be given a prize each
  • All participants will be given free stash!
Turn up every Thursday this term at 4pm in the University Parks for 90 minutes of fun, relaxed rugby, free stash and hopefully sunshine!
The first session is 25th April.
