Can you think of a student at Kellogg who has made an outstanding contribution to college life this year? This could be for cultural, academic, sporting, social, welfare or other services.
Do you think they deserve thanks and formal recognition for their achievements?
Then why not nominate them for an Excellence Award, saying why you think their efforts have made a difference to students at Kellogg?
All current students are eligible for the MCR Excellence Awards (other than members of the awarding panel) and nominations will be open until the end of sixth week (Sunday 4th June 2017). All you need to do is send an email the MCR Development Officer firstname.lastname@example.org naming the person you are nominating and saying why. Nominations will be anonymised, evaluated and scored by an MCR panel – with two or three award winners announced by the end of seventh week (11th June).
And the prizes?
- all Excellence Award holders will have their names inscribed on a permanent board of recognition, for all to see for years to come;
- they will also receive a small engraved plaque to keep and display with pride;
- the winners will help decide how the Excellence Award funding should be spent in their name, for the benefit of all students;
- and finally, they will be guests of honour at a glittering guest night dinner on 20th June where they will be suitably fêted and presented with their individual plaques.
Here’s a chance to give something back to the people who have done so much for us – so get nominating!
